After a chat with Mitch tonight, I have decided to move my blog over to wordpress.
I have been meaning to do it for quite a while, but I was worried about all of the readership that I would lose. I had to at least create myself an account to see what wordpress was all about. The minute I started the account creation process, the minute I knew this was the place for me.
Unfortunately the blogger content import is failing, telling me that it cannot login – but besides that, wordpress ROCKS.
The number one reason for my change of address, is the lack of stats in blogger. I need to know who is reading me – I need to know how many hits I am getting, and which content is most popular. I am hoping to replicate the content here and provide links in the old URLS to the new content, but we will see how things go. I may even just leave the old content where it is, and plaster my old blog with links to this new one.
