If you full screen your virtual server remote control client in vista during a presentation where you have duplicated the monitors, on some occasions it will full-screen out of view, and you will be left with 2 duplicated monitors with no explorer…nice… To get around this, I found that you can just task-kill explorer.exe, and file -> run it from task manager again and it seems to sort itself out. Do that right after you kill vmrc.exe to ensure that it’s no longer hogging any of your monitors, and so it doesn’t get too confused.
